International Business Etiquette

This topic exposes me to business etiquette of New Delhi, India.

I never know anything about New Delhi, only hearing its name before. During lecture, I was very engrossed in listening as I discovered new things about the place.

Restaurants

Instead of just obtaining information from the lecture, out of curiosity, I went to search for pictures of New Delhi. I did not know that New Delhi has wonderful sights that attracts me to view more and more.

Learning about business etiquette of other countries will help me in international business dealings in future. It not only prepares us before facing international clients but also helps us to react and interact with them.

Also, we are given a research to do on a particular country, which my group chose UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Through researching, I found out that business etiquette in America is almost similar to Singapore. That made our work harder as it would be more difficult to differentiate Singapore from America.

Thus, during our question and answer time, our teacher pointed out to us the difference between Singapore's business etiquette and America's. Through this, it made me deeply felt that no matter how similar two countries' business etiquette are, there will be at least a minor difference that may affect your business clients if we fail to know.

I feel that business clients forms a whole business. Similarly, customers forms a whole restaurant.

Using this picture as illustration...

Every small littel dice can form a big dice. Every small little dealings can form a big business.

We must never fail to understand others well in order to succeed.

Either you screw it up

or you clinch a deal

To conclude, i feel that one should "impress your business partners with your understanding towards their culture and etiquette. In that way, we can expand any businesses and bring to greater heights.
